Tour Description:
Our day on the tropical island of Roatan begins with a sightseeing tour of the lush island, where we explore from the cruise port or resort to the panoramic hill, which is a great location for a 180-degree photo and offers the chance to shop at the local craft market. It's time to head to the west side of the island for our first sampling at the chocolate factory after this halt. When guests arrive, we give them a quick but highly educational tour about cocoa, including its history in Mesoamerican Mayan civilization, its many health advantages, and its use as a raw ingredient in chocolate manufacturing.
